When I think about wedding dance songs in 2017, the list has to start with the “Despacito” remix and then everything else. Really, even the best wedding DJs I know thought it was a bit of a down year for dance music.
One fun way to enhance your ceremony is to fake out your guests at the recessional. I can start with a very traditional version of “The Wedding March” and then, after a few seconds, mix in to something contemporary and upbeat.

I rate 2016 was a fine year for dance music. Many of my couples had unforgettable times on the dance floor with some of the newer songs. “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” and “Cake by the Ocean” were my two top dance songs.
